This is just a quick note to let you know that our Facebook fan pages and our Twitter pages are now linked. That means that when we update our Facebook pages, our Twitter pages will instantly show that same update. It’s pretty cool.
Now, you can become either a fan of our Facebook pages or follow our Twitter pages. You’ll get the same updates.
We’ve set a new goal. That goal is to clean up some spam ads that have crept their way into our websites. Spam is no good for anyone, especially you, so we’re doing something about it.
What is classifieds spam? Well, basically classifieds spam is posting identical, near duplicate, or variant listings for the same item or service and posting identical ads in the same category or location.
We don’t like spam, the search engines don’t like spam and you don’t like spam.
We are going to start really keeping an eye on spam and junk ads from here on out. Spammers, be warned – you will have your ads deleted and your account blocked. All others, keep up the good work and enjoy using our websites for your advertising needs. We like having you here.
I think people around here are going to start talking about me. They probably think I’m giving away the farm, but I don’t care. I like to see happy members.
Okay, we just added the listing duration option of “No Expiration” in the listings process. The page you would choose this option is the one where you type in your ad title and description, etc… It’s right after the category choices.
Here is what it looks like:

Now, if you choose this option and then post your ad, you might notice that the expiration reads 20 years into the future on your “Active Ads” page. That’s true. This isn’t a true “No Expiration” ad. We just figure that 20 years is long enough to consider it that.

This is a little secret that really isn’t a secret anymore. We’ve actually plastered it all over our Facebook and Twitter pages.
We are trying out something new…giving you 4 images to upload for free. Why? Who knows, but you better head over and take advantage of it right now because we don’t know how long it will last.
This can be a really good experiment where everyone is happy with tons of smiles or a not so good experiment where we have to get some more servers to hold all the extra images. We’ll let you know.
