Adding and Editing Photos
How do I include a picture(s) in my ad?
To include a picture, you must upload your image to our system. An uploaded image must be located on your computer as a file. While placing your ad and on the image collection page, click the browse button, locate your photo and click upload.
Can I change my photo(s) once it’s in my ad?
Yes. To do so, log in to your account and click on “My active listings.” Then, click the edit button to the right of the ad you wish to edit. From there, you will see some buttons, including one that says, “Edit photos.” Follow the directions on the website from there.
I tried to add a photo with my ad but it kept telling me it was the wrong type of file. What type of file can be used?
Currently, we accept photo uploads in the .jpg, .gif and .png file formats.
I am having trouble uploading my photo(s). I think they may be too large. What can I do?
If you are having difficulty uploading your photo(s), please make sure they are reduced in size, smaller than 1MB. Many times, this is as easy as adjusting the setting on your digital camera to the smallest setting. If you can’t adjust the size on your camera, or if the photos was already taken from somewhere else, you can visit this “Online Photo Size Adjusting” website to help you out.
I have been trying to upload a new photo to my ad, but it is not working. After I click the submit button, it shows a blank page. What can I do?
If you are getting a blank page, your photo is most likely too large in size. Photos need to be 1MB or less. If you are sure your photo is smaller than 1MB, there may be something quirky about your photo or it is in the wrong file format. You may email us your photo to take a look at. Please use the email address from which you received your welcome email. Also, please see the previous answer to help out in this situation.
Buying Tips

We do not sell the items you see in our ads over the Internet. We have found a better way to connect buyers and sellers over the Internet with the use of classified ads. We do not auction or sell any items on our site. We simply provide advertising space for those who wish to buy or sell. If you are interested in any item you see, you can click the “Contact Seller” button or click the “Website” link for further information on the item.
On your website, there is a product that I am interested in getting more information on. I believe, at one point, I have signed in. At this time, I do not know how to sign back in. I would like to know how to contact the seller.
To sign back in to your account to contact a seller, click the “Login” link on the top link bar. If you forgot your login or password, click the “Forgot Password?” link below the login/password fields on the login page.
Cost Specifics and Payments
How much does it cost?
Nothing! Placing a classified ad is free. Registering with us is always free! On some of our websites, there may be a fee to upload photos as well as certain fees for ad extras, such as ad bolding, featured ad and better placement. Since these fees may change, we leave the specifics on the ad placement pages on our websites. You will see them during the ad placement process.
I have been charged multiple times for placing only one ad. What can I do?
A reason for being charged multiple times for one ad may be that you tried to place the same a multiple times. This might sound confusing, but some people think that by placing the ad over and over again until they get it correct, they will only be charged once. That’s not the case and the system will charge you for each extra you place in your ad. It can’t recognize if it is the same ad placed numerous times. The proper way to edit your ad is to place it once, and then to edit it from your account until you get it just the way you want it. If you feel that you have been charged incorrectly, please contact us and we will research all the recent payments and your ad history in your account to get to the bottom of it.
How do I set up a Paypal account? Is my personal information safe with you?
To set up a Paypal account, please visit their website at Paypal.com. We do not own or operate Paypal, so if you are unfamiliar with their service, follow the instructions on their website. We only use Paypal as our payment processor. Since it is not our company, we cannot attest to its safety or security. We do know that they have been in existence for many years and are owned by Ebay.com, one of the largest websites on the internet. Your personal information will be stored with them, not us.
Deleting Ads
I sold my item or no longer need to run my ad with you. What can I do?
Simply log in to your account and click, “My Active Ads.” From there, you will see a list of your active ads. Click the “Sold” button for the ad you would no longer like to run.
How do I delete an ad?
To delete an ad, simply log in to your account and click, “My Active Ads.” From there, you will see your ads with buttons on their right side. You will notice a “Delete” button there. Click that button next to the ad you would like to delete.
I need to remove an ad I placed on your website but your system won’t allow me to log on. Can someone remove it for me?
We recently made an upgrade to our system that a few people are having issues with. We will be fixing these issues in the near future. If you continue to have problems when trying to log in, please try one of the following things to fix the problem: 1) Make sure your ‘cookies’ are enabled (lower your security settings), 2) Delete all your ‘cookies’ (under ‘Internet Options’) and register again, or 3) If you use AOL, try accessing this site with ‘Microsoft Internet Explorer’ after you connect with AOL. As a last resort, please try the same actions from a different computer, if possible. The problem may be due to a setting on your computer that we can’t control. Since there are millions of different computer configurations, it may take some time to set our system to work correctly with all of them. If you still con not log in to our system to remove your ad, contact us and we will do it for you. Please give us your username and ad number.
Editing Ads
I accidentally clicked the “Sold” button while editing my ad. My ad now has “Sold” written on it. How can I remove this so it doesn’t say “Sold” anymore?
The “Sold” button should be clicked when you no longer have your item for sale anymore. Once you click the “Sold” button, your ad will display the “Sold” image and will be deleted within a few days. If you accidentally click the “Sold” button, just click it again and the “Sold” will disappear.
I placed my ad, but now I want to edit it. How can I do that?
If you would like to edit your ad, log in to your account and click on “My Active Ads.” From there, you will see a list of your ads. On the right side, you will notice an “Edit” button. Click that and you can edit your ad.
Forwards and Communications
What does it mean when my account shows a forward for my ad?
By telling you that you have a forward, we are just telling you that someone took interest in your ad and forwarded it to someone else to look at. There is really nothing that needs to be done, except to wait for someone to contact you directly regarding your ad.
Where do I go to contact a potential buyer? Someone replied to my ad, but I can’t figure out how to contact them.
When someone uses our “Contact Seller” feature on your ad page, their message is forwarded directly to the email box you used in your account. Sometimes these messages go to the spam box in your email account or are blocked by spam filters. To see a copy of the email sent to you, log in to your account and click “My messages.” On that page, you will see all communication sent to you and will have the opportunity to respond.
I haven’t received any email from your company. What’s wrong?
Our system sends out various email messages. Some include, login and password reminder, registration confirmation, ad placement confirmation and ad filter notifications. If you find that you are not getting any of them, please check your spam settings in your email service. Also, some email services, such as Earthlink and BlueBottle require that we click a link to confirm that we are actually the sender. Since we deal with a very high volume of email, we can’t possibly click all these confirmation links. Please adjust your settings accordingly.
I am trying to contact a seller (someone who has placed an ad) on your website, but their contact information doesn’t seem to be valid. Is there something you can do to help?
Unfortunately, the contact information that you see in the ad, is the contact information the seller wishes to display. We can not assist in contacting any seller on your behalf.
I am currently viewing an ad on your website. The ad says to “contact them,” but I can’t seem to find where to do that. Can you help?
When you are on the ad page, you will notice a light yellow horizontal bar with links in it. The first link reads, “Contact Seller.” If you click this, you will be able to send the seller an email through our system. Remember, in order to contact a seller, you must be a registered member of our website.

Does your classifieds company sell items over the Internet?

I would like to delete my account. How do I do that?
First, there really is no reason to have your account deleted. We very rarely contact members and never give or sell anyone any member information. If you don’t use the account, you won’t be contacted in any way. If you would still like to have your account deleted, please contact us and we will delete it for you. Give us your username and email address.
Log In and Password
I don’t remember my login or password. What can I do?
If you visit the login page, you will see a link right below the login/password fields that says, “Recover password here.” Just visit that page and fill in your email address. We will send you your login and password to the email address you used to register for your account with.
I am unable to log in for some reason. I have deleted my cookies from internet options as suggested. I do not know how to enable cookies as you also suggest. Can you help me?

To change your account password, log in to your account and click “My account information.” From there, click the “Edit My Info” button. You will then see where to edit your password.

As a security measure, we block certain users from accessing our website. We use various methods in blocking these users. Some of these methods are general in nature and may also block unsuspecting users, who weren’t meant to be. If you can not access our website (either logging in or accessing regular pages), please submit a ticket so we can look into your case.

What should I do if I suspect an ad of being an online scam?
If you think an ad placed on our website is a scam, please contact us immediately with the username of the person who placed the ad (shown on ad page) along with the ad number. We immediately block this user’s access to the website and delete the ad.
What should I do if I am contacted by on online scammer?
If you are contacted by someone who you suspect is a scammer, please do not reply to them or have any other contact with them whatsoever. Forward us the exact email you received from them so we can take the appropriate actions.
What should I do if I contact a seller through your website and I later suspect the ad of being a scam?
If you contact a seller who you later suspect to be a scammer, stop contacting them all together. Forward us any emails you received back from them, along with the ad number and their username (found on the ad page).
Placing an Ad
I am looking for a particular item and can’t seem to find what I am looking for.
Didn’t find what you were looking for? Don’t worry, you can place a want ad under our “Wanted” category. And don’t forget to check back daily to search new ads.
How long will my ad run for?
The time your classified ads will be posted varies on what you choose during your ad placement. There is a drop-down box on the details collection ad placement page. You can always login to edit your ads once they’ve been placed.
How do I place an ad?
After you register, you simply click on “New classified” to get started. Decide what type of ad you would like to place. Then, fill out the easy-to-use form, send, and your ad is activated instantly! Make your listing look professional. Use a short, descriptive title to catch the buyers’ eye (no more than 50 characters). Give the buyer a complete description, including a picture to enhance your ad. Make sure you include all the important information, and always be accurate and truthful in your listing.
I put money in my account, but my ad is not showing. What am I doing wrong?
When a member puts money in their account, they are not placing an ad. They are simply funding their account. After you fund your account so you have money in your “Site Balance,” you can go ahead a place your ad. When you get to the payment page, click “Site Balance” as your payment method and the cost will be deducted from the site balance. There are two ways to pay for extras in your ad, the site balance and directly through Paypal. Many times, people choose to fund their site balance when they will be paying for a large number of ads. It is much faster than going through Paypal every time they place an ad.
I just placed an ad and now I can’t find it on your website. How can I find it to look at it?
We have many ads on our website, so browsing through the categories to find yours can be difficult. To quickly find your ad, log in to your account and click on “My Active Ads.” On that page, you will see a list of your active ads. You will notice an ad number at the end of each title, for example, “My ad title (12345).” Once you see that number, write it down. Then, up on the top link bar, click the “Search” link. On that page, type in your ad number in the “Search for:” field and click the round “By classified ID” choice below. Then, click the “Search” button below. Your ad should show on the results page.
I was just wondering why my ad isn’t showing as active. I thought I had done everything correctly, but when I log into my account it shows that I have no active ads. What’s happening?
If you placed an ad with photo(s) or extras and paid for those extras by echeck, there is a waiting period for check approval before our system approves the ad. Usually, this waiting period is a few days. If you placed a free ad with no extras, please be sure you completed every page of the ad placement process.
How many ads can I place?
You may place as many ads as you would like, as long as you do not engage in spamming. Posting the same ad over and over and over in a row is called “SPAMMING.” Spamming will get your ads deleted from our website and will get your account terminated. In addition, our research has shown that customers who see the same ad many times in a row do not respond. No one likes a spammer. Also, your ads must follow the rest of our guidelines found on this website.
I was wondering how to place a “Buy Now” button in my ad.
Currently, we do not offer a feature where you can place a “Buy Now” button in your ad. Also, we do not allow HTML code in ads. In the future, we may allow this, but currently, this is not accepted.
After I finished filling in all my ad information, I wanted to complete the process and post it. Where is the “Submit” button to post an ad? I can’t seem to find it.
This was an issue a while back, but hasn’t been for some time. The reason some people were not able to see certain “Submit Ad” buttons were because of the way the images were labeled in our system. Certain anti-virus programs hid the images on certain computers. We renamed the images and have not heard any complaints since. If you are having trouble seeing certain “Submit” buttons during the ad placement process, your anti-virus program may be causing the issue. If you roll your mouse pointer over the space where the button should be, you will notice the pointer change to a little hand. The function is there, but the button is invisible to you. To remedy this problem, you can try adjusting the settings on your anti-virus program. Since there are so many anti-virus programs out there, we couldn’t possibly give advice on all of them. Also, you may try placing the ad while using a different browser or computer. As a last resort, try placing the ad and rolling your mouse pointer over the spot where you think the button should be. If you see the pointer change to a little hand, give it a click.
I can’t find my ad. I used to see it, but now it’s gone.
If you used to be able to see your ad and can not anymore, we may have removed it. We don’t allow some types of ads. For example, we remove any medical ads, weapons, certain animals, scams, adult, etc… If you placed something that you don’t see anymore, chances are, either the ad expired or we removed it. If we removed your ad, we may have suspended your account as well.
Do you guys accept XML feeds or .csv files for bulk uploads? I have a large quantity of ads to place.
Currently, we don’t accept this type of upload. We do have this on our “to do” list of features to add.

How do I register?
Are you planning on placing a classifieds ad? If so, simply click on the “Register” link. Remember that registering with us is quick and absolutely free! If you are just browsing and searching, we do not require that you register. Rest assured that we will not sell any of your personally identifiable information, but may use it for demographic purposes to make this website a better place.
Do I need to register?
Are you planning on placing a wanted ad or a for sale ad? If so, then you will need to register before you can create your own ads on this website. If you plan on contacting a seller, you will need to register as well. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause, but it helps to control spam. If you plan on just browsing our ads, you do not need to register for an account.
Why do I need to register?
If you are placing a wanted ad or a for sale ad, you must register. Registering makes our website a safe and more trust-based community. By registering, your e-mail address will be included in the ads (but not seen) you place. That allows people to contact you if they are interested in your products. If you plan on contacting a seller using our “Contact Seller” feature, you will need to register as well. This helps keep our website honest and with as little spam as possible.

At this time, you will need to re-register for each one of our websites. It is up to you if you would like to use the same username and password for each one. As long as your choices are not already taken, there are no restrictions.

You may have waited too long to renew your ad. There is a window in which you are able to renew. If there is no “Renew” button, you will need to place a new ad.
